MMK raises steel output by 9.2% to 3.3 mln tns in January–March
MOSCOW, Apr 14 (PRIME) -- The steel output of Russia’s Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) went up by 9.2% on the year by shrank by 0.4% on the quarter to 3.3 million tonnes in January–March, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
Production of pig iron also rose by 9.2% on the year and 2% on the quarter to 2.572 million tonnes in the period.
